After the plans for our Clean Up Day got cancelled in December due to snowy weather, we finally fulfilled our litter-free dreams and cleaned up the Woodberry Down area on the 17th of February. The wonderful Daniella from Cleanup UK (a charity combating the litter problem) led the day with the help of an incredible 12 volunteers. 11 bags were filled, plus a crate was filled from rubbish fished out from the water. Woodberry Down is looking a lot cleaner again, great job everyone!

A special thanks to Sharon from PACT Meals for cooking everyone a delicious, healthy meal out of surplus food waste, and to Alek and the London Wildlife Trust for their assistance.
