“Whilst volunteering at the Redmond Community Centre as an IT support worker helping people build their CVs, write cover letters and online job search, an opportunity arose for me to attend an interview regarding free training to become a Community Estate Champion. he lead up to Adult Learners Week which takes place in June. The aim of the project is to promote lifelong learning in Hackney to help residents back into work by gaining basic skills such as Maths, English, ICT and ESOL. The training starts early March for 8 weeks and I am really excited about the new challenges ahead”.
