Made in Hackney has been running International cooking classes at the Redmond Community Centre, with funding from the Well London programme.
4th May 1.30 – 3.30pm – Healthy Nigerian Food. Ogu Nnachi shows us how to make delicious authentic Nigerian dishes in a healthy way
18th May 1.30 – 3.30pm – Turkish Gozlema and Flat Beans with Cigdem Gogus. Learn the art of Turkish gozlema making (delicious savoury filled pancakes) and flat bean stew with our Turkish home cook Cigdem Dogus.
1st June 1.30 – 3.30pm – Feed Four for £3 with Ximena Ransom. Learn to save money and eat better food with Made in Hackney teacher Ximena. The session will cover various dishes that feed 4 people for around £3.
29th June 1.30 – 3.30pm – Preserving Jams, Chutneys and Cordials with Mike Logan. Learn the foundations of preserving jams, chutneys and jellies with Made in Hackney teacher Mike Logan.
13th July 1.30 – 3.30pm – Ital Food Cookery with Jah Spirit. Join Jah Spirit in the kitchen to learn the art of ital cookery – the delicious, vegetarian Caribbean food most famously eaten by Bob Marley!
