We are running a fun and creative dance project to get your body moving and mind switched on this August.
Each session will be run by two professional dancers, Leonie Campbell and Magdalena Radlowska. Leonie and Magdalena will be using contemporary dance, creative games and choreography to develop technique and skills for a new dance piece to be performed at the Hidden River Festival on Saturay 12th of September.
The dance sessions are free and open to everyone of all ages and abilities… all you need is a little enthusiasm! Come on your own or bring family, friends, little ones, Nanna’s & Pappa’s – everyone is welcome!
Sessions will run from 11-3pm every Friday from 21st August – 11th September with the final dance piece being performed on Saturday 12th September between 1.30 and 2pm.
Leonie and Magdalena have over 30 years of dance experience between them. Their passion for dance has lead them to work on many projects which use contemporary dance, physical theatre and contact improvisation to encourage development in peer socialising, family bonding, improved confidence and well-being.
Together, their teaching styles ease dancers & non-dancers into technique sessions using simple techniques to learn choreography. The main objective is to enjoy and have fun!
