Each week will tackle specific issues faced by mothers wanting to get back into work environment.

Get a helping hand workshops

Created by Fato Gassama who is a qualified Career Development practitioner and a mother, so, not only can she relate to other mothers’ struggles, but she can also easily identify the barriers they face when attempting to climb back onto the employment ladder.

Her experience working as a Community Learning Champion at the Hackney Learning Trust and as a Career Advisor for the National Career Services has provided her with an excellent understanding of the current labour market and the necessary skills to create positive interactions, build trust and facilitate changes.

Fatou will work with you to implement an individual action plan. Once your goals are properly assessed, we will equip you with the necessary tools to rebuild self‐esteem and self‐belief as well as restructure your life. We will tackle both of the practical topics through firstly addressing mothers’ internal issues. Our activities will consist of an 8 week mother’s’ empowerment workshop and 10 follow‐up monthly one‐to‐one life/career coaching sessions.
