Over the past 18 years or so, the organisation has created two main community-led trading outlets – an organic fruit and vegetable box scheme and the Growing Communities Farmers’ Market.

The box scheme is delivered here in our Redmond Community Centre. There are several bag sizes and quantities and you get a newsletter every week with handy recipes on how to use the veggies in your bag! To sign up click here

The Farmers Market runs every Saturday and includes an array of wonderful farmers and delicious food! For the four Saturdays leading up to Christmas, Growing Communities’ Farmers’ Market will be running alongside the Christmas Tree Forest in the grounds of St Paul’s Church on Stoke Newington Road.

Fiona McAllister from growing communities says:

We’re making it easier for Hackney residents this Christmas –  they’ll be able to buy their Christmas trees, Christmas presents and fabulous, sustainable produce all in one place…all the while having that warm, fuzzy feeling that they’re supporting local, small-scale farmers working towards changing the food system one carrot at a time…

The market and Christmas Forest will be running together at St Paul’s Church, Stoke Newington Road, London N16 7UY on Saturday 28 November and 5, 12 and 19 December.
