The Council is asking all residents to get involved in a dialogue about promoting equality in a changing borough.
There has been a lot of change in Hackney over the last 10 to 15 years, so we would like to hear from local residents about what this means for them. We would like to like to capture a variety of personal stories and circumstances to improve our understanding of the impact on local residents.
The year- long dialogue launched on the 18 March with a question time style debate attended by more than 200 residents.
We would also like residents to share their ideas about how we can work together to face the challenges, keeping Hackney as a place for all residents.
You can take part by visiting this website.
We will be attending various events in the summer to talk to local residents and gather their feedback. We would like community groups to support us in sharing this across their networks to ensure that we are hearing from as diverse range of residents as possible. Community groups interested in hosting their own events to gather feedback can contact Florence Obinna on 020 83564342 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
