On a crisp Friday afternoon on 29th November 2013 the Manor House PACT team helped plant a new native hedgerow and some wild cherry trees in the beautiful surroundings of Finsbury Park.

Ministers planting trees

To mark the occasion the Mayors of Haringey and Islington, the speaker of Hackney council and local MP Jeremy Corbyn came along to get proceedings started and a fantastic team of volunteers from PACT partners Transition Finsbury Park and the Haringey Parks team helped to get the hedgerow and trees planted.

Thanks go to the Woodland Trust for providing the whips and the Finsbury Park Trust and Haringey Parks service for hleping to organise.
