We currently own two Community Interest Companies (CICs), a recognised form of social enterprise. These are both joint ventures with private organisations enabling us to combine our charitable expertise with their business experience. Woodberry Training Partnership CIC funds free training for local people; and Local Labour Hire CIC aims to enable people to access local employment opportunities across London and the UK.

Originating in the London Borough of Camden, this social enterprise guarantees 50 apprenticeships for disadvantaged people every year. MHDT was instrumental in expanding the Academy into the the London Borough of Hackney for the first time.

Brighter Environment

MHDT is the lead partner with ISS, My Social Innovation, Young Hackney and Be Safety who are working together to create a new cleaning services social enterprise, Brighter Environment. The partnership provides accredited training and business support to young Hackney residents in running their own business.
