Manor House Development Trust is a growing organisation, having secured long-term funding and developing a new Business Plan to drive the organisation forward. We can now for the first time report a triple bottom line on our performance, as well as completing our first Social Return on Investment. We are looking to expand the work we are doing and fill some gaps in expertise on the Board.
As a result, we are looking for one new member to join our Board of Trustees.
Applicants should live in the Woodberry Down Ward area and meet the Trustee Person Specification (see below). We are also particularly interested in receiving applications from candidates who have knowledge and/or professional skills in one or more of the following:
- Social Enterprises
- Human Resources
- Charity Management
The role requires attendance at around 4 Board meetings each year and 1 Board Awayday each year. Board meetings are held at the Redmond Community Centre at 6pm and last for approximately two hours. In addition we encourage Trustees to join working groups and sub-committees and attend some of our community or business development events.
The role is voluntary but reasonable expenses are reimbursed.
