Woodberry Works

Woodberry Works is a pioneering strategic partnership, directing the training and employment strategy in Hackney, to ensure residents can access opportunities on their doorstep. The partnership was originally set up as part of the regeneration scheme and is now managed by MHDT.

Since 2009 Woodberry Works has:

• Received Demonstration Project Status by The Housing Forum
• Provided training through Built2Work to over 60 young people, of which approx. 37% have gone into employment, 26% have gone into further training and 63% have received their CSCS cards
• Provided £90,000 worth of training to local residents through Woodberry Training Partnership CIC

Woodberry Works employs a Training Support Officer, funded by Hackney Homes.

Partners include community representatives, London Borough of Hackney, Berkeley Homes Capital, Mulalley and Co Ltd and Hackney Community College.
