Half-Term Activities Were a Whole Lot of Fun!

by mhdt ·

Last week we ran two days of half-term activities, and had a big turnout of families and kids who came and enjoyed themselves.

On Tuesday, Tamara and James threw a Puppet Party! There was a sing-a-long musical session, and everyone had a go at making their own puppets. To celebrate Pancake Day, Lydia and the PACT Meals team cooked up a feast, featuring stacks of pancakes with delicious toppings.

On Wednesday, we spread the love with our Valentine’s themed arts and crafts workshops. Valentine’s monsters, felt butterflies, and bird feeders were made with a lot of creativity. Sharon and Lydia baked a batch of heart-shaped cookies and cupcakes, which were decorated beautifully and consumed rapidly by everyone who came! We then enjoyed a captivating story-telling session by theater experts Fumi and Juan. What fun!

If you enjoyed the Puppet Party, why not come along to our Creative Choir for Adults or our Music Room for Kids run by Tamara and James, every Thursday, 6.30pm-8pm at the Redmond Community Centre. Find out more here.
